¿Mexico, que pasa?

Anyone know what's up with our neighbor to the South? At present, there appears to be but one (1) SC in the entire country, and that is south of Mexico City, at Cuernavaca, over 500 miles south of the U.S. border and about 600 miles from the next SC, in Texas!!! So is this a token "island" to sell Teslas to rich urban Mexicanos, to tool around the capital only? You're marooned there and cannot drive there in a Tesla! Strange situation.

Would have liked to have gone to Guadalajara, but "no way José!"

Is it common for folks living relatively close to the border to drive when taking trips deep into Mexico?

Being a northerner, I guess I just assumed everyone flies.

Next SC in Mexico is supposed to be opened in Guadalajara, as per Tesla's website. And although there're only two SC, there are 8 destination charging stations in Guadalajara alone.
Where there's a will, there's a way.
