‘23 MYP Post-Delivery Priorities and Wheel Spacers

Hello, fellow MY owners. I recently took delivery of a MY Performance and I’m really enjoying it so far. Some work I’ve had done so far:

- PPF’d the entire front end and the area forward of the rear fenders
- Window tint and external heat deflection
- 295 (rear) and 275 (front) MPS-AS tires
- Home wall charger install

Accessory Pick-ups:
- mud flaps
- all weather matts

I’m debating whether I should go for a complete PPF and ceramic coating of the entire car or splurge for the Unplugged Performance coilover suspension as the next thing to do. There are also a number of accessories I plan to pick up as well. All in a matter of time of course, but really just trying to map out what project I should do next. I think a full PPF would provide more in a sense that it would provide a solid piece of mind knowing it is better protected. OTOH, I like the idea of improving the ride quality albeit I’m no stranger to firm/sportier suspension setups.

Also, has anyone installed wheel spacers on their MYP? Thinking of going with 20mm up front and 25mm in the rear (or 25mm all around) and wanted to be sure there are no fitment issues with the 21” Uberturbine wheels. Thanks.

10 mm H&R Trak up front and a 15 mm Aspira in the rear looks perfect imo but ymmv. Go to Model + or email them. Danny is super knowledgeable about fit and stance.
I decided to run 10mm Trak spacers on all for corners. I had Bonoss 15mm (F) and 18mm (R) but replaced them with the H&R. Was rubbing the inside of the rear fender trim. 10mm makes all four corners near flush with a just a slight poke.

Also ended up going with a full PPF and Ceremic coat and won’t be upgrading the suspension. Other than adding a few interior accessories I’m pretty much done in terms of mods.

I have 14mm in front and 20mm in the rear on kw v3s and I have no rubbing at all
That’s awesome. I didn’t think I’d have a problem at all from what I’ve gathered in this forum. However, I started to notice rubbing on the passenger rear fender trim after I installed the 18mm spacers. Occasionally it would cause the rear fender trim to pop out and I’d find plastic “shavings” hanging off the trim from where the tire rubbed. I should add that I’m running wider 295/35/21 in the rear. We have some really shitty roads here in Colorado and it would happen when I’d bottom out on a dip or when I couldn’t avoid a pothole, so I’m sure there are some environmental factors at play here as well.

We’ve had some snowy conditions here, so the state of cleanliness is a reflection of current road conditions in our area (mostly wet and dirty). So while I would prefer to post pics of a clean vehicle, these should suffice for the purpose of demonstrating the aesthetics of the 10mm H&R Trak spacers with 21” Uberturbines and 275/35/21 (front), 295/35/21 (rear) tires.
