“Autopilot Safety/Convenience Features Unavailable”

Seems Tesla have great futuristic ideas, but yesterday's engineering, as in plastic mounts for radar!!

Don’t worry. Radar chips got scarce (my theory) so radar was abandoned. Keep the line rolling!

View attachment 408429 Today while driving to work, I got an alert on the dash “Autopilot Safety/Convenience features unavailable features may be restored on next drive”

It is raining, but alert remains even with wipers on and camera unobstructed.

Did the reboot with brake pedal down and both scroll wheels. Also powered car down for 5 minutes and alert comes right up.

Has anyone else experienced this alert?

Yes, I’ve had that alert posted on my Model S P100DL dash for the last few days since the recent Version 2021.34.5 software update. Everything in my car was working fine I uploaded that update. I think my alert has something to do with that update. A
possible glitch in it? Can’t seem to get rid of it with dash or car reboot. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

This just came on in my 2016 85D. Am I going to have to take it to a service center to fix? I am also waiting on a rear door handle rebuild kit, which I was going to do myself. It’s been a bad week for my car.

I’ve gotten this twice now. Both times immediately after washing the car… I’m guessing it has more to do with the lower radar sensor than the camera in the windshield. The first time it corrected itself after letting the car sit for a few hours but this time It’s been on for 2 days. I’m thinking maybe loose/corroded wiring?

on a new Plaid, I get this issue several times a day. Always the first drive of the day and then almost alternately on drives after a long park. No auto wipers or ability to get constant high beams. No visualizations and anything to do with the front camera.

I just got this alert on my Plaid today. Did you ever get the issue resolved? I went ahead and made an appointment with the SC just in case.

in my case, it was a faulty front camera.

I just joined the club as I got the error this morning on my five month old MSLR. Rebooted, took a couple of drives, then washed the car but it won't go away. I opened a service ticket hoping they can fix something remotely.

I drive Model 3 it’s been three years I started to get same message just last three days I rebooted and reset all the buttons I still have the same problem

Mine is working again. SC replaced the radar sensor module (1108647-00-H) and its bracket (1610974-00-B). Then did some sort of calibration - front radar sensor DAS 2.5 according to the invoice.

Mine is in for same reason. They said they would replace a radar sensor. Thanks for the part # info!
