op het UK forum gaat er een gerucht dat het aan de assembly van de battery-pack in Tilburg zou liggen. De daar gebruikte fuse zou de hogere output niet aankunnen. Vandaar dat er geen enkele EU eligible is. Ik hoop er toch nog op dat dit ooit zal kunnen tegen betaling ..

A little background is in order. Just before the faster Model S and X were announced, it became apparent that some 75D versions of the Model S and Model X were shipping with an 85 kilowatt-hour battery, even though just 75 kWh of capacity had been unlocked for use. Though no official announcement was made by the manufacturer, some new owners discovered their cars packed more power by crawling under their car to take a peek at the battery.
Since only some 75D vehicles will be eligible for the upgrade—and the timing of the battery capacity findings roughly correlates with when Tesla announced non-Performance models would be capable of faster acceleration straight from the factory—one could speculate that the two could be related. Tesla has not confirmed that there is any correlation between the 85-kWh battery capacity and the faster 0-60 time.

Inderdaad. Het lijkt dat ze de VIN's per regio vrijgeven, als dat zo is komen wij nog wel aan de beurt. Wel bijzonder dat ze je met foute informatie weer op pad sturen, dat was ook zo bij de eerste aankondiging. De upgrade zou alleen kunnen op auto's na 1 juli, maar dat is gewoon niet waar. Kijk maar wat er in de US gebeurt. Ze wilden het gewoon niet uitrollen omdat ze (naar mijn mening) voorzichtig wilden kijken wat de impact op de onderdelen was. Ondertussen maar weer geduld....

Mijn Tesla Model S 75D komt van Juli 2017, toen ik bij het centrum in Duiven was hadden ze direct even deze software upgrade uitgevoerd! nu een seconde sneller! Top!

Het zou toch erg tof zijn als mijn 60D van nov '16 ook 'ontkurkt' kan worden..! Moet binnenkort toch nog een afspraak maken voor haperende buitenspiegel, gelijk dit maar eens navragen.

helaas is het een leasewagen... anders zou ik voor die €2.300 de upgrade wel hebben laten doen denk ik
