    A supercharger session should be able to do that in under 1.5 hours max. The battery management system (BMS) monitors and controls the charging session to be safe.

    If there's a real issue with the battery you'll know the first few days you have it. If you charge it and suddenly an hour later its flat, for example. So as you say, you're covered anyway with the battery warranty. Please post the outcome! Good luck.

    Haha! Found this in the Tesla FAQ:

    Please make sure to review your contract and other documents prior to the delivery appointment. Our Service Centers have limited space and are unable to store vehicles. Please be prepared to pick up your vehicle within one week of its arrival at the Service Center. Prior to your appointment, our expert staff performs a pre-delivery inspection and verifies that your car is detailed and fully charged.
