0 to 60 uncork

@SG57 this sounds very accurate to me, if I understand you correctly. Assuming there is a delay from the request through the internet, the server, the car at start. There is also a delay when you hit 60mph for the information to transfer from the car, internet, server, phone. Should the delay superimpose each other?

@outie, @number12 are you serious? I have confirmed my X is uncork, I share my built date, I already said there is no paper work. And you are guys are still firing at me like that? Hint: maybe you need to be nice to the SC before asking.

I never said I will not post any data, I need to figure out what I am doing. Here is the raw data, I am making you to do the work.

I think that’s 4.624s 0-60mph.
I took the 60mph time to be the average of the 59 and 61 times.

Zero to 60 in 4.750. I'll take that!!!

Now, you know why I was asking @SG57 how accurate is the dashboard app before I wanted to share this.
Another option is to just grab your phone and start videoing the speedometer.
Then come to a complete stop, accelerate to 60, then slow back down to the speed limit (I know I know).
Later get the video onto your computer and open in some video player and get the exact time of the run by getting the start time (when 0mph goes away) and the end time (when speed hits 60) then subtracting those times to get the total run time.
It’s very accurate, and will tell you for sure if you’re uncorked.

Assuming the last column of data is power output in kw then this confirms you are uncorked.

Let's move on. Let's say @dark s finding are accurate and a 2016 has been uncorked. How can tesla ever claim they are fair? Or even truthful (said it was hardware changes)?

Where do they draw the line?

All I am asking for is consistency with Tesla...- that goes with answers to questions when a customer asks, or to any upgrades or perks someone gets vs not , etc... not whining here..

Seems dark's experience is a plausible one. I woke up this morning and decided to take a peek at the new inventory for MX 75Ds on the Tesla website. Last time I did this about a month ago, there were numerous 75Ds available, but ALL were 6.0 sec 0-to 60 mph. I remember thinking to myself, "How is Tesla ever going to sell their inventory of "slower" 75D MXs when they are asking for a price comparable to a faster custom built MX?" Well today's search revealed that NO inventory 75Ds are even available for purchase! Only 100Ds/P100Ds. I have to wonder whether this is because they are all undergoing the "uncorking" that will bring them up to speed before they are placed back on the Tesla website as new inventory. Just a theory...

Takes a couple hours to uncork... you think they would miss out on even one sale? Might as well put the faster time and uncork before it's delivered.

Makes sense. I hear you. But having been in the market for Model Xs since May, I've scoured the Tesla site regularly for their MX75D inventory. This is the first time I've come up blank. 75Ds are usually found aplenty, so this is very odd. If they re-emerge today and all are 0-60 in 4.9 sec, my suspicion will only increase that their remaining inventory has been uncorked.

Telsa inventory is location based, and they like to move cars around. I would not use their site to gauge availability. Use all the other tools available to check for cars.

Well I left the zip code blank but now just filled it in with 94538 (the Tesla factory zip in Fremont). Still no 75Ds. I hear what you're saying, but it's just odd they should all vanish from the site. Web site glitch maybe or really no current online inventory of new MX75Ds?

Check the Seattle area. 98039 I see 10 75Ds Xs in the new inventory.

They still use your ZIP based on IP geolocation. If you look at the requests made it has a ZIP in it still. you need to use a site like EV-CPO that calls their API without a ZIP.

You need to work with one of these hot shot OAs. Just like real estate... it seems like the best deals are never (or only for a short time) listed.

Tesla likes to keep it fair.
