This goes back to its original owner today. We can save almost all of them. Others may do it, but no one does it better. I don't post here often. Please like the Medlock and Sons Tesla and EV Service Center facebook page. We can do anything you need to a roadster and we will come to you if need be.
This is incredible, Carl. Thank you for preserving the rarest production color! FWIW, there were 26 produced in Brilliant Yellow (this includes one of the Engineering Prototypes that is decommissioned).
Beautiful work. I’m not sure if you’re aware of this, but San Diego is a great place to live. Any chance we can entice you to move down the coast?

Just pay the flight both ways and the repair bill and I will come to you. I'd love to live in San Diego. We just had our 60 days of summer here. I mean sun... Other than my kids, I can't explain why I am still here.
Wow, thank you. WOW Thank you. 905 is in Vancouver BC I'd love to hear the total numbers for each color. It's strange but I think of all the questions asked of me, how many of each color is near the top.
I just went and Hugged my car and moved it to where it can’t see my screen, in case it has nightmares
This is amazing work. Wow. I'm floored. When I was Roadster shopping, Brilliant Yellow was my first choice, but I couldn't find any for sale at the time. Very Orange is just as loud and seemingly more common. I figured with a car like this, might as go big or go home RE: color. Im fact, my preferences in order were Brilliant Yellow, Very Orange, and Lighting Green. In retrospect, I love the look of my Very Orange, but I dislike the extra attention it receives. My friend calls it "drug-dealer orange." I'm sure Brilliant Yellow receives the same amount, if not more, extra attention as Very Orange. Didn't realize it was this rare. Thanks for the info, @DeedWest. Great work, Carl. Thank you. You, Javier, and Peter and giving me more confidence to move Roadster 501 to Kona, where it would hopefully be better preserved and tremendously enjoyed.
Please hang onto 501. Owning the first production 2.0 is special enough as it is. And, you're correct. There were quite a few Very Orange cars produced. It was one of the more popular colors. However, the same cannot be said for Lightning Green, as it was only produced for the 2.5 version. It is the second rarest production color.
Whoa, nice job @CM_007! Any addl. before photos of the wrecked state you can share? Cross posting this thread here with some former glory photos for reference.
I'd love to purchase #1354 or 1364. Yellow was always my favorite color for the roadster. PM me if you're the owner!
Can anyone tell me, are there any of the early roadsters still with the original battery? If so, how's it charging now?
I’ve got Validation Prototype 24 with an original pack (in which I’m 95% positive it is) and it charges to 229 out of original 244 in Range Mode. I’d say it’s doing an outstanding job holding up!
