I get approx 220 on range, 180 on standard charge. Pack changed in first year as it was a pack with riveted BMS cables. I’m at 130,000km now. I do about 2000km/month and I did tend to range charge because I like to arrive with plenty in the pack. Now I run it way down before I charge so hopefully it’s not taken to much away.
Thanks DeedWest, X.l.r.8! Great to know the batteries have held up so well. And thank you for helping pave the way for electric transport. Any others?
Ooof! Thx for sharing @DaveD. Certainly a testament to the work ethic and dedication poured into the project to get her roadworthy again.
I thought #458 was Orange... FYI, #835 was not yellow from the factory. but repainted to yellow after delivery. I think #905 is Canada also Is #1257 Yellow or Orange? Also, you guys didn't count all the yellow Roadsters outside of North America...
Awesome results! Congrats on CNBC coverage (I’ve posted before but unsure on linking to it) and thanks for your continue work and dedication! FL needs you also! This shop in Seattle can fix the original Tesla Roadsters that Elon Musk left behind
Also on Green car reports: Shop keeps Tesla Roadsters going strong without factory support Too bad there's nothing on the East coast. I dread going to the SC.
Carl, I earnestly applaud your excellent work to bring this car back to life. As TEG wrote, my car (835) was originally Radiant Red but I had it stripped down and repainted in a shade of yellow that is used on Lamborghinis, as well as getting an interior overhaul and having the front and rear upgraded from 2.0 to 2.5 (aka 2.25). 2.25 conversion, interior upgrade, and repaint My wife has a Very Orange (972). She loves it. To each his or her own!
Ouch, DaveD - not again?! I hope nobody was hurt, and glad Carl could get it fixed up for you...again. #690 was once mine, went to Canada for a while, came back to the US for a while, and AFAIK is once again in Canada.
No, thankfully, no one was hurt in the accident. Being the middle car in that "sandwich", my Roadster took the brunt of the damage, but it's back in operation now, with 1000+ more miles driven since being repaired. I take it out only on dry days, since the 3 is the all-weather car. Is #690 yellow again, or still wrapped?
plug in america survey database has about 200 Roadsters in its DB. Its an interesting look to see where mileage vs range compares. Battery Survey « Plug In America
