Beta is 10.5 while production is 10.2 :)
They are two different numbering systems that coincidentally line up. v10.2 is the UI (entire user interface) number that we are all on. The Beta number is strictly related to the Beta release.

EDIT: Looks like we will be getting v11.x UI in the 44.x release when we get Beta 10.8.

In fact the Beta numbering system was originally internal only but Musk announced in on Twitter (because Youtuberes had their own numbering system) and then Tesla decided to stat using it.

I still predict a late day, nondescript, tweet saying last minute touches are still going to be made, and that its going to be great, and probably will release sometime before a holiday...
I'm thinking the betting apps like FanDuel need to pick this up as a betting option.

Could easily do over/under on the date and time. Could also get creative on a parlay on what gets included and/or fixed.

Not sure if you meant to say this, but, yes, before "a holiday". Could be Christmas. Could be New Years, could be MLK Day, maybe valentines day... But one thing is for sure: it will blow our minds, just like last year's holiday dud.

Did the HQ officially move to Texas? Or are they building new HQ in Texas?
Yes moved to Texas. In typical Tesla fashion the HQ is located in the new gigafactory just like China and Berlin.
Elon wants mgmt to be where the action is. Exactly the opposite of what Boeing did when they moved HQ to Chicago 20 years ago. That hasn't panned out too well.

OT: That is probobly the biggest mistake in tech corporate history. Engineers ran the compony in Seattle and then the Bean Counters took over and decided the best place to be is near the "beans" and no where near the "grease monkeys".

In the early 80's General Dynamics was having huge problems getting the M1 tank line started in Warren Michigan.

The President of the company, Oliver Boileau moved his office from Corp headquarters in St Louis to a 12' X 12' cube dead smack in the middle of the factory until they got the line running.

Don't make them like that anymore.
