I have some shots of that car shortly after it got its drivetrain in Menlo Park. IMG_1292 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
Someone asked me if I had more photos of this car. They're all in my Flickr photostream accessible from the link above.
They actually had a real hard time selling that car. Fresh and Easy's logo colors were pretty close so they found just the right buyer.
VIN 100 (and thus the last of the Signature 100 series), but they must have just held that VIN. The car was finished about the same time as VIN500 and the first 2.0 cars.
He says in the ebay description that it is a sport?!..... what's the small badge on the quarters, in front of the rear wheels on his ebay pics? So no vin's under #500 were sports then, right? No exceptions?
"Signature" (Sig100) badge. I can't say 100% for sure, but I am 99% sure that no 2008s were originally made as Sports. It has the "shift lever" (not buttons) on the console like other 2008s: Also, 2008 style tachometer, not power meter. So I think it is highly, highly unlikely that it is a sport model.
I don't see Sport on the original sticker either: Someone could get upset if they see the description on eBay that says "In addition to standard Tesla features it is a sport (higher performance)", and then find out it isn't true.
