So i'm completing the online forms and now it's asking me to upload my proof of insurance. Seems like it's real (and not just a marketing engagement campaign)...

Yeah, I'm at that step, and I ordered in late Feb. I still don't have a VIN, so I can't do the insurance, but I actually spoke to a human being today and they said it should be here by end of the month.

Some of this is definitely the luck of the draw, plus cancellations. He mentioned that he checked to see if anyone canceled on a car with my specs in the NY area, but came up blank. So some people are getting theirs early because others decided not to close the deal.

You’re is most likely real, as I put all the stuff in but my insurance is not available to input yet.

Been stuck waiting for purchase contract for a couple weeks. Did talk with someone last week who said plan for delivery before end of month... Didn’t get the email today though. Any west coasters get the email?

I'm trying to figure out if they are doing this with trade-ins as well. I'm picking up from Houston service center in 3/25.

I got my Tesla is on the way email and delivery date (3/31) selected yesterday. Today I'll be putting insurance info and payment. Hopefully, this will be an option for me, but I have not seen this email yet. AWDP-20"-FSD R. Calling delivery center and will update if they convert to assistance free. Crossing my fingers.

Yes, I believe if your trade in paperwork is in order, you should be able to trade in your car and pick up the new car. Id call the delivery center

Ordered white performance with PUP on Monday, March 16th San Diego). Got email yesterday. Filled in most of the information, but didn't apply for loan since I didn't not have VIN or delivery date. Was just told to apply for financing so they can proceed with VIN assignment.

Well i don’t have a vin and I have been stuck in trade in limbo world for the last 5 days. However today someone contacted us after inquired about what was going on. So hopefully we will get ours as well.

I have the same specs with blk interior. Live in Oceanside with carlsbad my delivery center. Ordered 2/27/20 and no VIN or delivery date. Been assured EOM delivery. I got No Contact email yesterday.

i have uploaded my insurance for over 2 weeks now; agent in Vegas mentioned that "the situation is fluid" and not sure if I would still get my Y this month like anticipated.

I ordered back in February: white performance w/21" performance wheels, black interior, etc.

Got another email, this time from a Tesla inside delivery specialist. Nice guy, he is helping us set up for financial readiness.

I guess my position is going to be, no VIN number + confirmed delivery date = no money?

yes... if you dont have a confirmed date to take the car I would not send the money.... specially with everything about to stop functioning on Monday

Im not sure if the delivery folks work weekends, especially with all the mess going on. Next update will likely be on Monday.

Ordered 3/2/20 White AWDP-19"-FSD. Received and completed 100% of deliveries start online info 3/19/20. Waiting for contracts and VIN. Live in Oceanside and you need to pickup @ Carlsbad delivery center. Hoping this mean I'm getting delivery this month. Will update when I get to next steps.

My car was supposed to be delivered to the Devon Pa center next Friday the 27Th, but then I got a call from the Devon center saying they are being shut down by the Governor for deliveries and that my car is now being rerouted to the Cherry Hill, NJ center. Hopefully they stay open until I get my car or my new car may end up sitting on a carrier truck for a long time! This is really getting crazy!!
