100kwh Battery for Model Y

I have placed an order for Model Y which is scheduled for delivery sometime in December.
But some one alerted me that it is better to wait for a few months to get a Y equipped with 100kwh battery like the S and X.
Wondering if anyone has any opinion on this.

I'm sure 100kwh will happen eventually but not in the next few months.

The rumors I have seen indicate that the battery is growing from 78kWh to 82 KWh and that the new batteries may already be in recently delivered cars.

I guess once they equip the S and X with newer "tabless" batteries, they will equip 3 and Y with 100kwh batteries.

This could be a possibility when the new 4680 cells finally get to the MY, but that won’t be anytime soon. The cyber truck, MS, roadster and semi are going to be the first that utilize it. The design change involved to accept the new cell is not something I see happening for years.

I have double pane windows but just missed out on the auto dim mirrors, scroll wheel and usb in glove box. But If 82kwh pack comes out within a few months I'll be real salty lol

I'm ready to pull the trigger on a Model Y. Are the batteries 78 kWh or 82 kWh? If the M3 is 82, I figure the MY is also or will be shortly.

Don't want to order before the change.
