Just posted on eBay: Tesla : ROADSTER SPORT in Tesla | eBay Motors The description claims a "low reserve".
I spoke to them at Wheelsaway. This car is the same one that was posted a few weeks ago. The low reserve isn't accurate in terms of what they are looking to get for the car. Sounded like they are looking for close to 90K.
$90K is $20-$30K under what Tesla is asking for roughly equivalent (v2.5) CPO cars with more mileage.
I think that was the slot machine prize at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas a while back: Roadster prize in Las Vegas In Las Vegas, a Battery-Powered Jackpot - NYTimes.com
So they don't have anything invested. With a hundred Roadsters for sale prices are worse than ever for the secondary market.
Well, there was probably a hefty tax bill for someone along the way... And perhaps shipping expenses across country.
I wasn't meaning to sound as if the car isn't worth the price. It's a comment that originally started on the thread that there was a low reserve being asked.
