I use and like easy entry profile. Particularly since it arrived in an over the air update - very smart.
It’s better too, since the update that made unbuckling your seat belt the trigger to change profile, rather than pressing the park brake.
However, I don’t want to move to easy entry when you open the charge port. That action helpfully brings up the charging screen dialogue where you can set scheduled charging or amp limits. Just as you see that screen and your finger moves to a tap target to select something, “bzzzzzzz”, your seat’s moving backwards and you’re further away from the main screen that you’re still working on.
Since you still have to take off your seat belt to get out of the car, why not wait for that action as the trigger for switching to easy entry and keep it consistent?
