Looks like my thermistor for my solar hot water to spa heating loop has died. So far no luck find a replacement let alone what to call it.
Since this group as lots of experts and leads. Below is a picture of what I am trying to replace.

I guess my first question is have you looked for a brand/part number on it. My second question is are you sure it is a 10k thermistor?

I think this is your part for Pentair style temperature controllers;

THANKS!!!! that is what I have been looking for. I need to verify size, might be 1/4 inch. My solar controller says its is a 10K. When I measure it is totally nuts and I see not part number but until I get out, maybe something on the bottom. A pain since I have to drain the spa down, which I just changed the water 2 days ago. :(

Glad to help.

A little duct tape would go a long way to slowing your leakage...I would be ready either with the new part or a matching NPT plug.

I hope it works for you. I couldn't find the resistance listed anywhere on the listings, but a quick email would sort it out. Most thermistors are 10k, so you should be ok.

I may have found one in an old spa heater part. Going to remove now and check it
