I think he meant AWD front motor as he stated rear twice and understands the difference. The RWD motor is definitely more efficient which is why the range difference exists.If it completely de-energizes the front motor, then the real difference is literally just the weight and drag.

i wonder how much the range difference is if one would re-add the weight of the front motor in the frunk. The thing cant weigh more than 50kg?
I believe it is closer to 100kg. Remember, you have the motor/inverter unit as well as all the supporting hardware.
