The first Model 3 has just received 12.1.2 in Nevada. This appears to be the same car that received 12.1.1 a day before the massive push went out last week.


Keep your fingers crossed, maybe the rest of us that missed out on 12.1.1 can now start getting the update shortly

The releases with a 3rd decimal number are always just bug fixes. I don't think there's any that actually have included new features?

Also, I just got 12.1.1 last night... seems to me they're still rolling out 12.1.1 just fine.

I would think the 12.1.2 would be fixing the 12.1.1 bugs that some people were experiencing: whether aborted installs, features malfunctions, black screens, etc.

I'm currently on 12.1.1

I have been to 2 different SC's and haven't seen any bump in the charging yet....

If the videos posted online are any indication, the only bump in speed is prior to 50% SOC. After that point, it’s basically a wash.

No, it’s for installing what you already downloaded, try switching your WiFi to the 2.4ghz side of the router. That’s what I use, my 5ghz side seems weaker in signal strength. Downloaded twice so far with no issues on 2.4ghz.

Your car has HW3 and is probably on a different software release branch than the HW2.5 cars. It’s too soon to tell what the release schedule is like for your hardware.

You have HW3 so that is the latest version for it.

Do you have the option to turn off confirmations for Navigate on Autopilot? I read in another thread that one user who thought he had HW3 got 12.1.1 but didn't have the toggle to turn off confirmations.

Model 3 Plus, 2019.12.1.1 gave me Web Browser, Satellite Map & Streaming Radio with Tune-in and Slacker. A good 5 minutes playing with it and looking at the Yahoo website with the browser, screen froze and started to flicker and the Screen rebooted, lost those features. Submitted a Service Ticket today and inquire about it. Maybe 12.1.2 will bring it back.
