Price drop:
Ordered an 100D and it is in production; will be ready in less than 2 week.
My father in law has some medical needs now and our finance situation gets affected, so looking for someone to take my spot.
Just asking for $1250 as a little compensate for my $2500 deposit. That means, you get a $1250 discount and less than 2 weeks wait time. Yes, I am asking for a help and bail out.

I don't think you can transfer the car to another owner without buying it first and pay the state sale tax, you are better off just cancel your order and lose the deposit.

afaik the way you"transfer" reservations is to add the new owner's name to the registration in MyTesla then remove the name of the original holder. You just reassign all the information.

Question:
will the OA/DS help you find a take-over person in there current customer base, or they would rather be glad to forfeit your deposit?
oh god no they wont help you... they dont get involved at all if whomever decides hes not giving you the deposit .. theres nothing theyre going to do about it as well

If you really don't want to lose the entire deposit, I think you can delay delivery until you find someone that wants your car for the slightly discounted price. You should also see if you can add the referral credit to your order.

Wow, that is very close to my build. I was gonna also add the PUP. Sadly, I'm buying a new business shortly and won't be able to order for 3 or 4 months.

Honestly, I would just eat the deposit.
