12V battery warning went away after update...

I installed the new software update yesterday and afterwards, the 12V battery warning I'd been getting consistently for the past 3 days has vanished. I contacted the mobile service rep and they still recommended getting the 12V battery checked out. Is the 12V battery something that throws intermittent failure warnings when it starts to go?

I was just in svc ctr for popup warning that came and went too fast to read it. They did a firmware update and said to watch for it. When I got in car to leave, it popped up again. They checked warnings and found corrosion on 12v cable to converter (I think). Changed cable and replaced battery due to age. All under warranty!

Interesting, I wasn't able to do any updates while my warning was on over the past couple of weeks, as soon as I got the battery replaced this past Wednesday it updated fine. The ranger doing the service said the 12V is what disconnects the HV battery contacts so the update can be performed.

I never saw a warning. My car quit while at 75mph on interstate. Towed to super charger. Spent all day trying get 12v battery to wake up system. Smart female at Draper said internal systems got lost. I needed super jump of 14+ volts. Got it from big tow truck. 30 minutes car came alive. Super charged, been fine ever since 3 weeks.
