12v switched power available once vehicle detects authorized phone, fob, or keycard?

Oct 26, 2019
I am aware of
but from other videos I understand this pin only has 12v applied to it when Sentry mode is on, or when the car is "awake" (not sure if this means after detecting an authorized unlock device, or once a door handle has been opened). Unfortunately I won't the opportunity to test this for a while, so wondered if anyone knows and can advise?
