Over the weekend I was talking to a local installer of power frunks, trunks, foot sensors etc. He recently installed a power frunk on a plaid model S and indicated he connected or tapped this red “cap” that does seem to indicate 12V. He explained you remove the cap and connect the wire and then put the cap back on and re-secure it with electrical tape. Additionally, I had a quick chat with another individual that had installed his own power frunk and had indicated that he tapped a purple wire which was a part of a trio of wires (yellow, purple and red) near the brake fluid reservoir. Can anyone (hopefully TeslaTap) opine on this?
