What is the difference between these 2 cords? Except for the colour and look of the ends, the spec's are the same as I can see.

One has prettier ends, and might light up at the outlet-end. Functionally they are the same. The black-ended one is slightly lighter.

Ah, ten dollars? This is an example of the "Tesla Tax" in action because Tesla is mentioned in the cable's description.

I would prefer the cheaper one at $109 simply because it has the "brass knuckles" type of grip. Easier to extract the cable from the socket. Note that both cables omit the neutral connection.

Just wondered why the difference, but Tesla Tax sounds about right.

Haven't found a need for one but I like the idea that the plug will fit a nema 14:30 and a 14:50.
