Scrap-It should be that amount in every province. Too bad the feds kept the MSRP limit so low on the 5k rebate presuming it ever comes to fruiton. Trying to pander to everyone (politically) isn't an easy formula these days and doesn't ensure success. Too many divergent views and hard core opinions and influence peddling. If the liberals lose the election the 5k is likely out the window.

Interestingly, Tesla is not on the Scrap-It list of qualifying vehicles.

So does anyone know if it is based on the price or if it based on the MSRP. Are shipping, pdi etc considered part of the price?

MSRP before taxes and fees in most province. I read QC is different though?

In BC, there's a guideline on MSRP, but ultimately the car needs to be put on the approved list.

I was just at the auto show today and test drove model 3. The Tesla employee said Tesla doesnt participate in scrap it program
