Came across this video on Youtube. The trunk alone can fit six people!
If they would have gone with a non-D model they could have fit one more small person in the frunk probably
same frunk on both D and non-D
This is true only for facelift models. Nosecone fascia's have a bigger trunk for the RWD models.
I don't think you can get an official record if you're using children. I know, kids are people, too, but why not just pack it full of toddlers or infants! Also, I thought I read that any more than 18 people in the car voids the warranty.
But this is a P100D...so it's facelifted.
Yes, I know, I was referring to the posts quoted below:
Pretty sure they exceeded the max load weight.
I wonder what the P100D 0-60 mph time is under that condition. 19 people is a lot of weight.
That's not as impressive as it should be!
Guiness world record is 20 people inside a smart fortwo! (I think this video is 18 people in a smart which is still pretty impressive).
I imagine you could get 40+ people given the space difference between the Model S and the fortwo.
I set records to bring awareness to the combat veterans charity "Motorcycle Relief Project" . The MRP is a 501.3 (c) set up to help veterans with PTSD and other injuries. Some of my other stunts include:
• Guinness record for shortest charging time Coast to Coast in a Tesla,
• Fastest drive time from Los Angeles to New York City in EV (Tesla)
• Fastest drive with Auto Pilot from Los Angeles to New York City in Tesla
• Fastest time with Motorcycle From Los Angeles to New York City
ETC. See video here List of Carl Reese’s World Records – Carl Reese
