My 16,000 original mile AMC AMX Go-PAC 390 is going on the auction block at Mohegan Sun Barrett-Jackson auction on Friday June 24th, lot number 348.

This car is an AMO Gold class winner and is 98% original with any replacement parts being NOS. Metallic racing green with white rally stripes. The car has crager mags on it but the original rally wheels come with the car....

Oh yes, a nice sale. Right in line and as expected. The car was featured as one of the bidder's game cars. Three video shoots prior to the auction. Two short cameos just before commercial breaks. Very fortunate to have Barrett-Jackson pick my car for that aspect. However, the TV viewing audience sees that stuff, while I was on the stage and floor you are NOT aware of what is going on in the Velocity broadcast. You miss some of the great insight that Debrule and Mignone give on each car. Miss that part but I DVR'd it all.

Overall the show was/is super as was the venue. It was a total sell-out as far as cars consigned and attendance. All tickets were sold out. Standing room only. All the sellers were quite happy as were the successful bidders. I have never ever seen Mohegan Sun so packed, but not overly so... just "thriving".

As car guys/folks (some of you are), the Barrett-Jackson events in Scottsdale, Las Vegas, Palm Beach and now Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Resort Casino are local enough so that most of us can get there. I will be back to Mohegan Sun next year for sure.
