He must have saved a lot more because he visits often Superchargers and in Europe the Superchargers are free too...Wow, back of the napkin tells me that if you've been driving a BMW 540i instead, you would have spend ~$30'000 in gas so far, vs. having spent ~$7500 on electricity. (Amsterdam prices at $6.48 for gas and $0.23 for electricity).
So $22'500 savings to date. Not bad!
Gratulations with the new MS. Is it exactly the same configuration as your 'old' one?13-8-2015 it was on 164250 km (in 19 months of which I had two months holiday where I did not use the car, so effectively it was only 17 months). At that date the lease company wanted my old car back and I was provided a new Model s. That new one has now today 28800 km on it (in 85 days).
I expect to reach 200000 electric km-ers in second half of November.
Very impressive. Blew through the warranty in a year![]()
With compliments! In the same period I have just 173,000 kms... :wink:With 17 days to go for the second year anniversary of driving Tesla Model S, in distance I reached the five times around the globe milestone (+200000 km) yesterday.
So if there is anyone still doubting that the Model S is the right car for them as they think they drive "too much" for an EV, you can now stop doubting
