I asked a client that specializes in vehicle wraps to quote wrapping the seat backs. $125 each and it can easily be removed and applied again if the wrap took too much abuse from the kiddos. We've had ours on too many road trips after taking delivery in September, but we're getting it done. Cheaper than other products and easily 'fixed' if it wears out.

I got a (tiny) chip in the windshield of my Model S a week after I got it. My Xpel film on the front end of the car has save the paint about 6 times now.

a good polish can easily buff that out. I had a few scratch from my 1.5 yr old and polished it right out with some meguiars ultimate polish.

I'm confused if the OP is trying to blame Tesla for any of these problems? I got a rock chip recently on my Model X and I had Safelite repair it. I also had X-pel put on the back of the front seats. If you use your car, any car, you are going to have wear and tear.
