I've had my 2022 Plaid since December and minus a few hiccups and trips to the service center, I'm still loving my first tesla. But there's two simple things I wish they would've had on this car.
1st: Coming from an AMG E63S which I still drive regularly, when I pull that car forward into a parking spot I can touch one button and activate the front camera to make sure I don't scrape the front lip on the parking curb. The Tesla has a camera pointed directly at my face in the cabin, why can't we have one in the T emblem on the front of the car!?
2nd: Every time I get in the car it says like "8 new sentry mode events". I feel like it'd be a lot more convenient for us as owners to get the notification with a 15 second clip sent to our app kind of like a Ring camera. I'm always too lazy to remove the USB drive and take it in with me when I get home after work to see if a squirrel happened to walk by or if there's someone casing my car while I'm at work.
Just venting, I know this is first world problems. Hopefully the sentry mode notification videos happen with a software update in the future. But Tesla placing a camera in the "grill" seems a little less likely even though it would save my ppf in the front. How do we make suggestions to Elon? Twitter, I guess? Lol
