Summary: It'd really aid trip planning if the "Nearby Charging" list could:
Background: My road trips require a bio break every 1.5 hours. (Your body's mileage may vary.) They needn't all be Supercharger stops but when they are (1) it's easy to find bathrooms, coffee, and food; and (2) charging adds very little time to my breaks.
Example: In the screenshot, I was about to head south on Hwy 5 for 5+ hours through Shasta Forest and beyond to the SF Bay Area. Only 2 of the 7 Superchargers shown are even relevant, making it difficult to find relevant candidates further down the list, esp. if you don't know those towns. The list doesn't show travel times, so picking the next stop requires estimating from the distance, tapping on a candidate, getting its travel time, then starting over. Routing to the destination picks only 2 stops and runs the battery well below my safety margin.
(A Better Route Planner lets you adjust a slider. "Quickest arrival" plans 2 charging stops. For this trip, one step towards "Short but many stops" planned stops about every 0.5 hours. It used to be about every 1.5 hours.)
- filter to the ones roughly along a route or visible in the map after panning and zooming,
- show the approximate time to get to each charger in the list.
