I just picked up my MXLR a few weeks ago. Last Sunday, when I turned on the vehicle there was an error saying rear motor not working max speed 97 mph.

I got 15 feet out of my driveway up a hill and the car starting issuing warnings and said it would shutdown. Drive no longer worked and I began rolling backwards down the hill.
I turned on my flashers which lasted maybe 5 minutes before the vehicle entirely died. No app, couldnt open doors etc. Tesla roadside picked it up and took it to the dealer.

I dont have it back yet but I can see the repairs which are considerable.
  • Battery - LV (Remove and Replace)16V Li-Ion Battery, 300A
  • Rear Drive Unit (Remove and Replace) ASY, DRIVE INV, 3DU, 810A, SIC, REAR
  • Pyrotechnic Battery Disconnect (Remove and Replace) Disconnect, Pyrotechnic
Thank god this happened outside my house

Ive also had mobile service out twice to fix one falcon door which fails to fully close 1 in 5 times, plus waited 3 hours at service for them to fix it - still unresolved.

We're off to a rough start but if they can fix the vehicle Im happy and move on with my life.
