The best way to convince you is trying it. That's why we are offering 20% off for you to try SUMA Nano Sealant. DM if interested, thanks.

Benefits of ceramic coating not the cons. Developed in-house using the same nanotechnology on Suma Mirrors for bonding at the nano level for the maximum protection.

@mafpolo thanks for the questions. There are no body shop issues. We've tested with local detailers to perfect our formulas (see picture below for the result).

Typically people want ceramic coating for easy maintenance and keeping shine on car paint. (No it doesn't prevent rock chips, which is a myth). Suma can provide the same results without the cons. The cons of ceramic coating in our opinions are:
  1. Pricey: Anywhere from a few hundreds to 2k+(professional grade)
  2. Difficult Application: Applying ceramic coating is laborious, requiring attention to detail and long hours. If applied incorrectly, hight spots are difficult to remove.
  3. Long curing time.
In comparison, SUMA is
  1. Reasonably priced.
  2. Easy to apply Wipe on and wipe off.
  3. Instant curing. It takes 15 minutes or less for the whole car

Nanotechnology means that our sealants are decomposed at the nano-molecule level that can effectively bond and fill up the defects/gaps of the paint. This creates a layer of protection that effectively repels contaminants and keep the car shiny.

This car was applied with Suma Nano Sealant at a detailer shop.

There are dozens of these “hybrid” coatings on Amazon that are very similar. A friend that details cars uses it. Since the ceramics need periodic “boosters” they need as much work as using a product like this as doing a boost. So he uses this type product because it’s easier and cheaper. Which one is best, they all claim to be the best. Turtle wax even makes one for $12 bottle. All spray on bottle, wipe off, cures fast many with “nano” lingo.

To answer your question... I have not used the product but I strongly doubt it is better than ceramic coating. Cheaper? Yes.
Actually the cheaper part is no. There are ceramic (9H) spray coatings that last 10 to 12 months that cost less than this and are easy to apply, although you do want about 2 hours to cure, so there is that.

Agree that synthetic products have been around for ages under various names. But traditional ones aren't as durable even though they claim they can last up to 6 months, 1 year... To people's disappointment, they don't last more than a few washes. Just look up the popular ones on Amazon and read the 1-star reviews. They all have comments about the short durability. The hydrophobic properties are lost after a few washes.

If you purchased our mirrors, then you know we know only provide quality products. Just like Suma Mirrors, SUMA Nano Sealant was developed by us using our proprietary nanotechnology.

We have tested it with local detailers. They were so pleased that they replaced their ceramic coating products with ours. I know it is hard to believe, and there is only way to find out. Please DM me if you have any specific questions.

so your comment is useless. Why do people with no experience with something have to chime in like this?
Because I have 26 years experience in the detailing and coating industry. We've seen this sort of marketing a million times in the past, and Suma is no different. We don't have to test every single product to form and educated opinion about it.

From an unethical detailers POV getting paid for labor repeatedly is a good thing.
I added a little something to your comment.
Nowadays, detailers that do not offer their clients the best option for their car will suffer greatly because there is someone right around the corner that will.
Detailers that knowingly suggest a product and service that needs to be repeated more frequently because the longevity of protection is less than what could be achieved with a better product are unethical and shunned by us real career professionals. But sadly it still happens.
There's nothing wrong with offering options, something like: "Mr. Client, we can do a wash and wax/seal job every 4 months for $148 each time, or you can pay $1,498 once and never pay another dime and receive better protection for the life of your car." Then let the client make a decision. But to say something like, "Mr. Client those high-end ceramic coatings are not worth the money, you're better off to bring your car back to me frequently for service" because it will earn you more money at the expense of the unwitting client, is unethical.

And I bet you know of a bunch of competition that make good money being unethical...........
Or some folks just want the cheaper today option all the time.
They make "good" money for about one season until their online reputation catches up with them.
And yes you're absolutely correct, a percentage of the population wants cheapest all the time.

This is after 10 days, been raining and applied bug remover and iron remover and still hydrophobic. I know it is hard to convince you that Suma Nano Sealant is unlike the conventional products. That's why we are offering 20% off for you to try. DM me if you are interested. That's why some local detailers replaced their ceramic coating offer with our products.

Which local detailers have stopped doing legit ceramic coating in exchange for SUMA Nano Sealant?
Also, how is it applied?
As some people might know, we manufacture our products in Taiwan, so these are local detailers in Taiwan. They apply a two-coat method.

1. The first coat is applied after a rinse while car is still wet. This is the base layer that fills up the pores of the paint.

2. The second coat is then applied after drying the car. Spray directly onto the paint or an applicator to wipe on. Wait for a couple of minutes. Then wipe off. We've found this two-coat method brings out the shin and depth of the paint.

This picture, shown earlier, was done by one of the detailers in their shop.
