The bang was the pyrofuse. That fuse protects the battery from excessive current drain if there is a dead short or other electrical fault. The most likely scenario is that a FET in the power inverter failed, which is an integral component of he main drive unit, and shorted the main power rail to ground thus blowing the pyrofuse, which saved the battery from being trashed too. Tesla doesn't do component level repairs on something like that so they will just replace the entire drive unit. Once the pyrofuse blows, the car is bricked.

I know this is an old post, but just found it when googling the same error codes i received for my 5 day old model y delivered to europe (made in china)…needed to ne towed to sc and they are still diagnosing so am not even sure they know they issue. Estimated completion in 2 weeks…what can i say

They will get it fixed. I even bought a second 3 a few months later.
We love them.

I had 3 M3s, 2 were ok, one had a faulty cable behind the screen. Took 2 SC visits to get it sorted.
I am still waiting to find out what’s wrong with the Y…
