Almost six years after taking delivery in Fremont, we have come full circle with our Model S. The Model X takes care of the hauling and it's bigger than I need, so I'm updating to Model 3. In case someone here is interested in outbidding Tesla's trade-in value, I thought I'd post it here.

She has aged gracefully, and is in remarkable good shape. There are some things that are outdated of course, so here's the gist of it.

The basics:
85 battery
~80,000 miles
Dark-blue (the original blue)

The extras:
Tan-leather interior
Sunroof
Rear facing kids seats in the trunk
Extended warranty until 100,000 miles or December 2020, whichever comes first
Free supercharging for the life of the car.

The not-haves:
No autopilot
No parking assist
HOV sticker expires Jan 1, 2019.

Asking $35,000, local transactions only please.

Should have noted that it's located in San Jose, CA. Here's some photos.

just out of curiosity what made you take the trade in instead of doing private sale? no prospective buyers? or just too much hassle?
Only two prospective buyers really. One that basically matched the trade-in offer, and one that came late in the process (a few days before delivery) who seemed serious but was out of state and hadn't seen the car yet, so I decided to play it safe. Didn't want to take the chance of being stuck with too many Teslas (yes, there is such a thing).
