Hi and thanks for writing. It does have the titanium shield. The battery pack was removed and "updated" as part of a warranty visit. It was not based on any failure or complaint that I gave them... They just told me they were doing it. It involved a loaner pack for a month or so and then they reinstalled mine a week or so ago. I will try to find out exactly what the issue was.

I notice also that you are from NY. I have driven a few times to CT and Boston via Albany with a single stop at the charger in Albany. By the time I have lunch I am charged up enough to finish the trip.

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like a good thing that it has a brand new battery. Please let me know if that changes anything with the warranties. I would think that the original 4 year, 50,000 warranty is about done. I'm not sure if it would effect the 8 year battery/drive unit warranty. And thanks for letting me know about the charger in Albany. I am planning quite a few trips once I get a MS and it's good to know.

Does anyone know the where this car has been for the last year? It’s now for sale at a used car dealer in Fishers, IN. They said they picked it up from Tesla in CA, I think.
