Ive searched hi and low with no luck. I was hoping to be able to just purchase the chrome trim piece that is on the lower part of the mirror. Anyone have a good source for parts (already tried Ebay). Dont really want to buy the whole assembly.

yes. Just got the email from Tesla and they said i need to replace the entire assembly for that 1 piece.
Random idea: Sometimes in various places (e.g. TMC's Marketplace forum) you'll see people parting out cars (selling off the parts from totalled cars). If it's just a trim piece you need, maybe you can get it that way?
