Looks like a nice car and reasonably priced. With the US dollar getting stronger against Canadian loonies, there are a lot of good deals up North. Does anyone have any experience of buying a car in Canada and bring it back to the US? Is that easy to import a Tesla back to the US?

Not sure about importing into the US from Canada but Tesla doesn't allow importing from the US, not to mention the exchange rate makes it prohibitively expensive. Exchange is upwards of 25% on the dollar but new is "only" a 13% premium over the US price.

Hi Sam: there have been a number of Canadian registered Tesla's sold and imported to the USA. There seems to be a little paperwork preparation but it does not appear to be too difficult. If you Google "importing a car from Canada to the USA" there are a few good guidelines and info.
