My S should have nearly 70,000 miles when my Model X arrives and I would be very pleased with only 50% depreciation. My Pearl White with dual chargers listed at $89,820 and I would be very satisfied with $44,910. In a previous thread on Tesla Model S depreciation the majority thought that depreciation would be higher than 50%.Kills me that our 2013 S85's have depreciated this quickly! There is no engine which these miles may affect it's long-term value. 50%+ depreciation in under 3 years. Depressing.
I agree with you that an electric vehicle with 8 year warranty on both the drive train and battery should depreciate less than an ICE.
