Wshowell, thanks for this succinct report. In your observation, what if any additional value is a Signature (vs. Production model) for resale? In the US at least, all Signature Model S cars are automatically low VIN and are almost certainly 2012 models. So they may be viewed, as you said, as suffering from reliability, built quality and lack of newest features. But they do have unique perforated leather seats, are generally loaded with all the options, and may have some rarity patina.
