So original asking price was 99,750. If that's the same car (Newton to Westwood is only a few miles), and the dealer is selling for 89,700, I can't help but wonder what amount it was sold/traded for. It's kind of sad, and maybe a little bit irritating, when people over-value their cars here, then trade them in for thousands less. This one was out of my price range, but the forums are full of people looking for used MS's, many of whom would likely have given strong consideration had the car been priced here at what the dealer ultimately must have paid.

Yes, VIN matches. The extended service contract, sadly, would have died on this dealer's desk. Since it was an early '13 VIN, you can also revisit the original option prices by looking at the image of this car's original sticker (~103k). In MA, the seller could have sold it for 6.25% less, because he/she was getting the sales tax rebate (if it was an even trade for something else).

I got under-cut by a dealer, literally today, who went 79k to sell a car that was the same model as mine, which the buyer had agreed to wire me 80k for. The dealer was subsidized, if any trade was involved. It sorta burns thinking about it.
