Hi- I currently have on reserve this P85D CPO vehicle from Tesla. I decided to purchase from a private party so would like to recover my deposit and transfer this reservation to another buyer who would be interested in purchasing the car. It comes with the full 4 year/50K miles CPO warranty and currently has 42.7K miles on it. The car is located in California.

OP, try to call the service center that it'll be delivered to and ask for a refund of the deposit. I was in the same situation and I told them, the delivery for the car was going to take too long. They refunded my deposit without a hitch. It did take about 1 month to get it though.
