I purchased my Model S about 6 months ago (CPO) from Tesla and don't really want to sell it but my wife has been pushing me to get a Model X (will not buy any other car beside Tesla). Mileage is approximately 36,400 and I would like to get $44,750.

Pear White Paint
All Glass Panoramic Roof
Slipstream Wheels
Multi-Pattern Black Interior
Free Supercharging
Standard Suspension
Standard Headliner
Tech Package

It's still covered under the CPO warranty. Garage kept, no accidents, dents, scratches or road rashes. I upgraded to Slipstream wheels as soon as I got the car. Tires are in good condition.

I just called Tesla and found out that the warranty is not up to 50k miles. When you buy a CPO you get 4years/50,000 miles on top the existing warranty. Based on this information the remainder of the CPO bumper-to-bumper warranty is 3 years 6 months/46,080 miles. The battery warranty is good through June 2022/unlimited miles.

Newbie here, but is the CPO warranty transferable to the new owner? I wouldn't just assume that it was, so checking with you knowledgeable members.
