2014 Model S60 Battery Degradation

Recently purchased a used 2014 MS60. Have ran the battery to below 10% and charged back to 100% 3 times in attempt to recalibrate and the max range I get is 168 miles. The car has 73K miles. Is a 19.3% battery degradation normal over 5 years and that many miles?

When you ran it down from 100, to near 0, how many miles did you get? similar to whats in the screenshot? also what is your AVG Watts per mile?

I actually only achieved 131 miles and the range stated 20 miles remaining. The average watts per mile for my last 30 miles says 313. Am I able to see the watts for a longer period?

You can see stats since the last charge on the dash, how many KW's you have used miles and AVG watts. 313 is pretty good. Other posters may know but i thought the 60 was a software locked 75 but that may not be the case for older models.

I am pretty sure the 2014 is an actual 60 battery and not a locked 75.

When I sold my S60 it had 52,000 miles and was still getting about 195 at 100%. A friend was getting around 160 and got his battery replaced.

I have a 2013 60 with about 68,000 miles and my 100% is around 194-197 or so. 168 seems lower than normal degradation would have it for 73k miles.

whats you charging routine like? leave plugged in over night etc?

My 75D was showing 196 miles at 83% earlier, not sure what it would have shown new!

I have a 3 now, but I charged both my S and 3 every night to 90% regardless of if I was at 20% or 85%.

Sorry for the zombie bump, but I've been looking at a used S60 that has almost the exact same stats -- 2014 that shows about 160 miles at 100% charge after ~70k miles. Owner told me he took it to SC who said there's nothing abnormal...so it doesn't sound like they're keen on replacing the battery. Wondering if the OP in this thread or anybody else has thoughts.

My quick Googling shows this seems far below average for a car with that mileage, so I'm obviously concerned. The price reflects the range (and a couple cosmetic things), so it would be a pretty great deal. That said, the battery is obviously the most critical and expensive part of the car so I'm trying to get as much info as possible. I've also have Tesla do a pre-purchase inspection were I to buy it, but sounds like they're not likely to admit any fault on that issue.

It seems the 2014 incurred much worse degradation than the 2013.

Guys their is another thread about this issue it’s probably due to the software update in June I lost 30 miles overnight with the update and charging slowed at SC I have 2015 S 85D
