2014 P85 140,000 miles

2014 P85, owned since new. We have another MS and an X in the family, so we must sell our first Tesla.

The miles have been put on mostly from Phoenix - LA - San Diego runs, we go back and forth every other weekend. Also my old work commute via Flagstaff.

There are some minor body dings here and there, mostly from road treads. All service records are scanned; nothing outside of a few early known issues for this car have been needed. No accidents, KOW.

It's hard to know how to price a Tesla with this many miles. The Unlimited MiIle Warranty covers the battery and drivetrain through 2022, the same time as a comparable car with 25,000 miles. Both the warranty coverage as well as the aging mode, are unique to Tesla. So it makes more sense to price on other aspects of the car like the body and interior and options. I'm starting the price in the mid 40K range, and will adjust depending on the offers that come in.

The battery still charges to 252 miles at 100%
Recent alignment, tracks great and suspension/brakes "like new"
Vin is 32K

I'll post interior pics in a little bit

There was a CPO P85 with 48k miles that was sold by Tesla for $35k - which includes the 4 years 50k miles warranty. Will be hard pressed to get 40k. Mid to higher 20's or low 30's (if you get lucky) my guess as value. Multiple sub 35k CPO vehicles sold in the last few months and those come full reconditioned and with warranty.

Most of the sub-100k but higher mileage 85's and P85's have sold for the 40k range on the forum and that was before Tesla did a dump of all the higher mileage used cars which again... substantially less mileage than this even though they were considered high mileage. Mileage doesn't bother me on these cars but at a certain point you need to consider the cost of lower miles and if it's only a few thousand dollars I don't think anyone would bite on a car like this unless the deal was such that it was worth their while.

With 85's selling in the low - mid 40's with respectable mileage, I would place this car in the $30,000 - $35,000 range. $20,000 is really cheap. I'd toss you 25k for it right now just to cancel that guy out. ;-)
