2014 Tesla Model S 85kWh -- Air Suspension, Dual Chargers, Pano Roof, Xpel+Opticoat Colorado Residents: This vehicle has never been registered in the state of CO, so it is eligible for a $6000 state rebate (even if the car is used). UPDATE3: Price drop to $73,000 and will contribute $1k for shipping. UPDATE2: Pictures of interior added. Full album can be seen here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/gnychis/sets/72157653943780738 UPDATE1: Please see my the TMC Thread for this posting where I've included a list of active CPOs listed by Tesla with similar VINs to compare cost. I'm including the data to help. ----- All pictures shown in the ad are of the actual car. Car was fully detailed on 4/25/2015 at Unique Car Care in Boston ($425). Selling my pristine 2014 Tesla Model S 85kWh with 16,800 miles after having moved from CA to MA where my daily commute is now walkable. I purchased the car while living in CA and picked up the car directly from the factory. Car spent almost its entire lifetime in CA (mild weather, good roads, etc.). I would love to keep the car, but I simply cannot justify it when I walk to work every day now. Total amount spent on the car was $105,791 (i.e., $95,791 after rebates). The base cost was $94,070.00 before tax and $102,291 after tax. Additionally, I spent another $3500 to put an invisible plastic film (Xpel) over the entire hood, front bumpers, and rear bumper to protect from rock chips and damage. In addition to a thicker paint sealant (Opticoat) being applied over the entire car. You could peal the plastic layer off and have the original paint in flawless condition as it came from the factory. Condition: Always garaged, no scratches, no door dings, no dents, no scrapes on any fender. Xpel clear film protectant, Opticoat paint protectant. 1 wheel has minor curb rash. Options: Leather seats ($1,500), Parking Sensors ($500), Dual Chargers ($2000 - for 2x faster charging), Smart Air Suspension ($2250), Glass Panoramic Sun Roof ($2250), Tech Package ($3750 - folding mirrors, auto lift gate, lighted door handles, etc.), Fog Lamps ($500) To purchase this exact car new today from Tesla, total cost (ignoring tax) will be around $93k up front ($96.5k if you consider the Xpel and Opticoat), over a 1 year wait to receive the state and federal tax rebates bringing the cost down to $83k (or $86.5k with the Xpel and Opticoat), as well as waiting 2 months for manufacturing and delivery of the car. **Asking $74,000** List Date: 4/26/2015 For more info, click here to view the original listing: 2014 Tesla Model S 85kWh -- Air Suspension, Dual Chargers, Pano Roof, Xpel+Opticoat -------------------------------------- On Sale For: $82,999.00 --------------------------------------
That's the way to go for sure. Love Boston, great city. Fantastic looking car, and well priced. Good fortune with your sale.
Thanks much. I definitely appreciate it. I've gotten some questions about interior. I'll take some pictures very soon! Interior is black leather with piano black dash finish. I think the number of times someone has sat in my back seat is less than 10-15. There has also always been a screen protector on my screen and the overall interior is in great condition.
For what it's worth, here are active CPO's with VIN numbers in the same range as mine for comparison: Additionally, many CPOs that I have seen often are flawed (scrapes, scratches, dents) -- and do not have the Xpel/Opticoat treatment. Only trying to help by sharing some data!
Alright friends, price drop to $74,000. With a 2014 85kWh at this mileage, I'm very comparable to CPO pricing if not lower... and on top of that I guarantee you the car is in far better condition, plus it has the full Xpel wrap and Opticoat, and was just detailed last month. Dual chargers also (which I found extremely useful several times being stuck in a bind).
In an earlier post you said you'd post some interior pictures. Have you gotten a chance to take some photos yet? Is this an early or late 2014 model?
Of course, sorry for the delay. Took some pictures for you on my way out to work this morning. Here are 20+ pictures of the interior: 2014 Tesla Model S 85kWh | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Thanks Doug! It is there too, no worries Tesla Model s 85 kWh | eBay I've gotten interest there, and I have some local interest here in Boston too. Just looking to close the deal with someone.
Just obtained an Autocheck report for the car, also. If anyone is interested, just PM me and I can e-mail it to you.
I looks from the photos that Autopilot was installed on this car. Isn't that evident by those small round sensors on the front and rear bumpers or am I missing something?
