So brand new comes to 101750 minus tax benefits. You are asking for 103K. Am I missing anything? There isn't much of a wait on P85D anyway btw.
Fair question. I uploaded new images to show the actual upgrades and costs. The cost was $122,000. Thanks for the question so that I could clarify.
Sounds like a great deal. But unfortunately it does not seem to have Air Suspension. I don't think buyers will consider the sales tax in your price. Thats a loss you have to absorb. 117.570 7,500- Fed Rebate 6,000- Colorado Rebate ---------- 104,070 ---------- I am actively looking to purchase.
Fair enough about the sales tax. Makes sense. I have adjusted the price to reflect the removal of sales tax. Evan
According to the order page it seems it can be enabled after delivery for $3,000, but you may want to double-check that.
The $ 3,000 is for vehicles ordered after Mar 31st. Does not apply to past vehicles. I would think it would be more than $ 4,250. Plus is the hardware already there ?
I would double-check that with Tesla. All cars manufactured since September 2014 have everything needed for Autopilot - even if they are a late 2014/early 2015 without the tech package. The question really is if Tesla would turn it on after-the-fact for a private party sale. That said, along the lines you mention, it may not be activated at the same $3k price they charge for new vehicles.
I am not saying they would not turn it on. I am trying to say I doubt they would refuse to turn it on. However, they may charge a different price than $3k to flick that switch.
The autopilot hardware should be there, but upgrade would cost more than $3000 I believe. This is a badly configured P85D. You can forgo everything except pano roof, tech package and air suspension. It'll be almost impossible to upgrade after delivery.
Yes, the cost of AutoPilot for this Vehicle is $ 4,250 at the time of purchase. So I would expect it would be at least $ 5,000 or more to flip the switch. Yes, I agree its badly configured for re-sale. There will be a very small number of potential buyers and its going to be hard.
It has the hardware. For $3000, Tesla will turn it on. That is all it takes. - - - Updated - - - I will upload window sticker right now. Thx.
I hate to be a pain, but the photo in the listing is blurry. Can you upload the window sticker and post in this thread? Pics in a thread are easier to zoom in and read. Thanks.
Ok I'm assuming no power liftgate? No Autopilot is disappointing but if $3k is cost to switch it on, that's not horrible.
