All: I'm working on our local EV Assoc to show at this summer's hot rod and classic car show.
    June 25-28, 2015, Richland, WA Website: http://www.cooldesertnights.com/

It is open to all vehicles and we've had some high interest cars in the past (West Richland is where Shelby is located http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shelby_SuperCars). It looks like we will have a couple of EVs showing (Leafs, Volts, Smart ED, two possible Teslas). If anyone is interested, please let me know if you plan to attend. Past experience has shown that bunching the EVs together helps to combat "most" of the naysayers (although not all of them).

We do have some local Teslas including TMC members and I hope they see this message (perhaps offer to help out-of-towners with charging). Since there are several city cruises for registrants, you will likely need some 240 V charging overnight. Unfortunately, there are only a few charging options in the area and only a couple of hotels have 120 V (see some of my previous posts on charging options):

FYI, Update on "HOT" Desert Nights. The weather is predicted to hit 110 Saturday and 113 on Sunday. Due to the heat, we plan to meet at 4:30 AM Saturday on the corner of Symons and Hunt so that we can all park together in the park under the trees along GWW. We have at least five vehicles, including a Tesla, but still need more. Please sign-up at cooldesertnights.com and pick up your registration package on Thursday to miss the traffic. If you want to cruise together Thursday/Friday nights just look for my red Leaf. Please sign up and let me know by PM if you are planning to attend. We need more vehicles, especially the new and/or exotics (BMW, Think!, Tesla). More info here: http://www.electricauto.org/group/group.aspx?code=MCEVA
