Yup. This car is currently priced about $20k over market. Low mileage and good condition doesn't count for much. The one good thing going for it is that it's still eligible for the ESA before the factory warranty runs out next year.

And yes, there is no such thing as a "Signature" P85D.

If your FIL gets his asking price that is great for him.

If he sees little interest in the vehicle and has not managed to sell it, please convey to him that it is possible to buy a Tesla CPO P85D with a 4 year warranty for the mid to late 50s. Here's one that is fully loaded for 58K:

The car is priced about 25K over market and if you consider the value of the 4 year CPO warranty for the P85D on sale by Tesla for $58K, the car is actually prices about 29K over market.

Make that for < $10K more. I've seen CPO P100Ds with AP2 for the low 90s. But yeah the pricing does not make sense.
