There's been a lot of discussion on the Tesla motor club forum discussing ideal mileage versus rated mileage versus typical mileage. My car currently has 241 rated mile range which equals to 303 ideal mile range for example. This is with a 88% charge on the battery.

for me the ideal rating is a useless metric, I don't think many people's driving habits would ever achieve the numbers offered by this metric.

sadly that is not the case for most 90d cars.
I am at 252 miles @ 90%
and I think its around 279 @ 100%, I rarely charge to 100% so I can't be more precise.
