No, that appears to be boilerplate on their event form. Hard to give updates when they only give 2 days notice to begin with.

edit- I received a confirmation email this evening, and others in the Austin group have as well.

Most of this kind of stuff has been short notice. One might almost get the impression that they're trying to derail Tesla. Nah! That would never happen.

I'm at the Columbus SC - I just realized there could be a mini rally in a while!
I could move Pearlie May and hang here after unplugging if there's any interest in meeting in the lobby.

I forewarned the Comfort Inn front desk that there may be a Surge of Teslas. She says everyone's welcome to come in and refill coffee or grab a snack while refilling the batteries!
