First off if you want to compare Tesla's to any car than you must compare a 2017 Tesla to a 2016 Bmw or 2017 Bmw to 2018 Tesla based on the way they decide to choose the year of the car. So all those studies are useless cause most have an extra year on Tesla's if comparing 2016 to 2016. All other manufactures make their new cars from May-August, whereas Tesla can be made in december of 2016 and will be considered a 2016. I hope if they have an extra year handicap of depreciation that they should hold their value better. For example a P90D 2016 manufactured in December does nothing when comparing cause it is considered a 2016 when it should be a 2017. So most of these comparison's are way off since the length of ownership for the same year car can be 6-8 months longer in a BMW than a Tesla even tho they are considered both to be 2016 models.
I was looking at trading for a 2017 NSX with a sticker price of $155K but it was built august 2016, which was the same month and year mine was built so in reality they were the exact same age. Yet mine had depreciated way more, even before Tesla's started to tank. This was almost a year ago. The NSX kept it's value way more than my Tesla, when Tesla's actually kept some value, now they drop $10K in a week.
Here's it with optional 21 inch forgiato's 9 front 10.5 rear
And here is a dragy device that records time across the world to compare times. It's about 3-4 tenths of a second off 0-60mph. As you can see my P90D is just as fast as the P100D
